Oldham 28 Hunslet Warriors 16: Cunningham sparkles for gutsy Warriors

The amateur Warriors from NCL Division Two gave Oldham the fright of their lives in a hard-fought tie at Whitebank.

Mark Cunningham’s second try midway through the second half levelled the scores at 16-16 when a major upset looked on.

His winger Aaron Niles had stunned Oldham with an interception try and Cunningham added the first of his pair on the stroke of half-time as Warriors trailed 16-10 at the interval.
