S Wales 22 Doncaster 52: in Scorpions triumph

Doncaster produced a comfortable 52-22 victory over South Wales Scorpions to go through to the fourth round of the Challenge Cup.

They were 30-6 up by the break through converted tries from Shaun Leaf, Mike Emmett, Dennis Tuffour, Stewart Sanderson and Kyle Kesik.

Scorpions’ only reply was on 27 minutes when David James found a gap and Courtney Davies converted.

Doncaster cemented the game – and progression to the next round – in the second half as Lee Waterman, Brooke Broughton, Shaun Leaf and Brett Waller ran through for tries. Sanderson kicked three further goals.

Scorpions refused to give up though.

Connor Farrer, Connor Farrell and James went over for consolation tries.
