The high-profile cross-code convert has only played two matches so far since switching sports after leading Rhinos to a seventh Grand Final success last month.

Sinfield, 35, came off the bench for 15 minutes in the British & Irish Cup win over an Ospreys Select side at Headingley and then played the full game as they fell 14-9 at Munster A last Friday.

He slotted three penalties in that game, but missed two more, and will be expecting another tough challenge against Welsh who, though struggling this term, were only relegated from the Premiership earlier this year.

A number of players have impressed head coach Bryan Redpath on B&I Cup duty, not just Sinfield but winger Taylor Prell and blindside Richard Beck who both retain starting spots as Carnegie - second in the table - seek to dislodge Bristol from top spot.
