Take your Partners

The British Grassland Society has added two Yorkshire farmers to its growing list of 'Grazing Partners' – experts willing to advise on making the best of grass.

The partners are sponsored to give free consultations but the BGS charges 50 a customer for its costs in running the scheme – organised by Sara Gregson, who saw a similar idea working in Canada. Dairy farmer Malcolm Edward Fewster, is one of the new partners. He works with his father at Gomersal, Cleckheaton. Sheep farmer Stuart Stark, of Sutton-on-the-Forest, near York, is the other new recruit.

To apply for help from a partner, call Sara Gregson on 01799 530934.
