Webster joins Hull FC as coach

FORMER Hull KR scrum-half James Webster has joined Hull FC's coaching staff until the end of the season.

The Australian, 30, played for Widnes Vikings a week ago but has now quit playing early and retired in order to take up the post at KC Stadium.

Webster, who made one appearance for Hull in 2008, has been coaching Hull's Under-18s in a voluntary capacity but will now also work with the Under-20s and first-team squad following the recent departure of assistant Dennis Moore.
