Wolves duo in the dock after Tigers left fuming

ENGLAND props Adrian Morley and Garreth Carvell will face the RFL disciplinary committee today for alleged offences which caused outrage in Castleford's 28-16 defeat to Warrington.

The Wolves duo have been referred by the RFL match review panel. Captain Morley is alleged to have made a high tackle on Brent Sherwin – a foul punished only by a penalty by referee Ben Thaler on Saturday – and could receive a two-match ban if found guilty.

Team-mate Carvell is charged with illegal use of the forearm on Paul Jackson – an incident which saw the Tigers prop need to leave the field in the fourth minute – and he could be hit by a three-game suspension.

Hull FC's Tom Briscoe was sent a warning letter for kicking out against Huddersfield, while Castleford's Joe Westerman and Hull KR's Clint Newton were warned about use of the knees.
