List returns to be on familiar ground

RUGbY UNION: Richard List has rejoined Doncaster Knights after four seasons with French side Narbonne.

The loosehead prop was signed on deadline day yesterday as Clive Griffiths strengthens his front row ahead of the National One run-in.

List said: “I learnt a lot in France and hopefully I can bring those the skills and experiences over and put them to use.

“In my last spell here I player under Griff and that definitely played a part in my decision to return but also having someone with Darren’s [Morris] experience was a factor.

“I believe that scrum-wise you can never stop learning and to learn from someone with Darren’s CV is a massive for me.

“There are a few other familiar faces still here also - it’s great to see Kendo here and still going strong.”

List’ arrival comes too late to make the squad for today’s home game with Blaydon, a side who defeated the table-toppers in the reverse fixture earlier in the season.
