Warne revealed that defenders Joe Mattock and Michael Ihiekwe, along with midfielders Joe Newell and Jon Taylor – who both scored in the 2-2 draw in the first leg at Glanford Park – all picked up knocks at the weekend.

Warne said: “There are a few struggling a little bit: Mattock, Icky and Newell. There are a few aches and pains. A few of them did not train today, but we’ll see how they are tomorrow (Tuesday). Twenty four hours on we will know more.

“Tayls took a bit of a dead-leg. It is in his running muscle, which is a problem. Scunny will have aches and pains too.

“There was more ice being used after the game than I have seen in a long time.”
