Godolphin boast an excellent record in the Ribblesdale Stakes and can land another renewal of the Group Two contest at Royal Ascot this afternoon.

Rumh looked nothing special at the beginning of her career but hinted at what was to come when routing a field of Wolverhampton maidens in October, before reappearing with a third at Newbury.

The two in front of her that day, Izzi Top and Dancing Rain, went on to finish third and first, respectively, in the Oaks and Rumh gave the form a boost of her own when trouncing her opponents at Newbury last week.

Hannon has put those disappointments down to unsuitably quick ground and will wait until the rain returns before making a plan.
