Runners' marathon effort for charity

Thousands of runners were cheered as they took part in the Sheffield Half Marathon.

More than 7,000 people signed up to this year’s race, and many were running to raise money for good causes.

The course took them through the city and out towards the Peak District, before returning back the way they came for the big finish.
