Sandal respond well to win in adversity

Sandal bounced back from two defeats with a 16-13 victory at Billingham, built on grit and determination.

Patched-up Sandal trailed 5-3 at half-time with only a penalty from debutant winger Ian Jackson to show for dominating possession.

A second from Jackson put them ahead after the break, only for Billingham to make it 8-6.
