Scrum-half Smith marks debut in style
As leaders Old Rishworthian slipped to a 22-20 defeat at Old Otliensians, second-placed Roundhegians narrowed the gap with a decisive 51-17 home victory over Aireborough.
Roundhegians led all the way, going into a 22-3 lead at the interval.

Wath on Dearne scraped a 21-20 verdict in a dramatic finish to their home game against Baildon.
Wath quickly took charge with two unconverted tries, but from being 15-8 down, Baildon edged into a 20-18 lead until Wath clinched the match with a late penalty goal by fly-half Joe Thompson.
Wing-forward James Holland and centre Will Foster scored tries for Old Otliensians, who won 22-20 at home against Old Rishworthians.
Foster also kicked three penalties and scrum-half Sam Clewes added a drop goal for Otliensians.
