Select from galaxy of talent for a chance to win your own race

WOOTTON BASSETT was crowned Yorkshire’s Racehorse of the Year in 2010 and now the search is on for his successor.

We have a galaxy of talent to take this year’s title from the Richard Fahey-trained Wootton Bassett, which won valuable races at York and Doncaster and the Group 1 Prix de Jean-Luc Lagardere at Longchamp on Arc day.

The award is open to any Yorkshire-trained horse to have impressed during the year or to any horse from outside the region to have made an impact on one of Yorkshire’s nine racecourses.

The winner will also have a race run in their name on a Yorkshire course during 2012 with lunch for two before racing and the opportunity to present the trophies to winning connections afterwards as well as having a free £50 bet courtesy of Sky Bet.
