Shahzad back as Yorkshire prepare for Roses match

YORKSHIRE will tomorrow welcome back Ajmal Shahzad for the 250th Roses encounter after he was released from England duty.

The 24-year-old missed out on a spot in the Test side to face Bangladesh at Lord's so has headed north ahead of being reunited with his county team-mates before the County Championship meeting with Lancashire at Headingley.

Shahzad is the only name added to the squad of 12 that were on duty at Hampshire in this week's drawn game.
