Sheffield United v Plymouth Argyle: Blackwell charged as Morgan makes return

Championship: SHEFFIELD United manager Kevin Blackwell has been charged with improper conduct by the Football Association following an incident against Nottingham Forest.

Blackwell reacted angrily to the dismissal of striker Darius Henderson who starts a three-match ban today.

Henderson was sent off for allegedly elbowing winger Paul Anderson and Blackwell was critical of referee Nigel Miller.

After picking up just four points from the last six games, the Blades have slipped out of the play-off zone and badly need a victory today at Bramall Lane.

Blackwell believes the return of captain Chris Morgan can be a major boost for his side.

Morgan has missed the last four games with a torn rib muscle and will link up with loan signing Nyron Nosworthy at the heart of the Blades defence.

"When you go into any battle, you want your best leaders around and Chris is a quality leader," said Blackwell. "We have missed him and I am delighted to have him back."

Henderson's absence means a return to the starting line-up for former Owls striker Richard Cresswell.

Defender Derek Geary, another player who crossed the Steel City divide, has been told that he could be back in action within a month after sustaining an ankle injury against Forest.
