Shontayne is Hape to be in Johnson's England squad

FORMER Bradford Bulls rugby league player Shontayne Hape has been named in Martin Johnson's 32-man England squad for rugby union's forthcoming Six Nations.

The ex-New Zealand international, 28, is joined by Northampton trio Chris Ashton, Courtney Lawes and Ben Foden in the revised elite player squad.

There is no place in the senior squad for Danny Cipriani or Shane Geraghty, who have to be content with places in the second-string England Saxons.
