SkyBet: Back Kalou to be on target to break Pompey hearts

Today's FA Cup final between Chelsea and Portsmouth should be a one-sided affair – so much so that Pompey can be backed at 14-1 to beat the Premier League champions in 90 minutes.

Chelsea have been ruthless in recent weeks, beating Aston Villa 7-1, Stoke 7-0 and Wigan 8-0 as they stormed to the title.

They were also 5-0 winners at Fratton Park not so long ago and have a magnificent record against the south coast club, so we can expect to see plenty of money staked on a similar outcome at Wembley.

Unsurprisingly, you are unlikely to get rich by backing Chelsea to win comfortably, with the '3-0 Correct Score' paying

13-2 and 4-0 just 9-1. There may be some value elsewhere, however, such as in the 'anytime scorer' market.

With the Londoners expected to rack up a few goals, there are some tempting prices around. Salomon Kalou has been selected in a three-pronged attack for the Blues of late and has been among the scorers, notably helping himself to a

hat-trick against Stoke.

The Ivory Coast striker is available at 15-8 to score again today.

Florent Malouda has also been a regular scorer over the second half of the season and is 7-4.

The most popular punt is likely to be Frank Lampard, scorer of 11 goals in the last 11 games.

The England midfielder is Chelsea's penalty taker – despite allowing Didier Drogba to take one against Wigan last week – and has scored in four of his last five games against Portsmouth.

The best price you will get is 11-10, but a more appealing offer might be the 4-1 that a penalty will be scored in the game – Chelsea have had five in their last eight games, four of them scored by Lampard.

Huddersfield Town begin their play-off campaign this lunchtime at home to Millwall, whom they recently beat 1-0 at the Galpharm Stadium.

The Lions were in superb form for the last three months of the season, but they met their match in Lee Clark's side, losing 1-0, so this one is particularly difficult to call.

There have been plenty of goals at the Galpharm this season, but this game should be much tighter than most and 4-5 for 'Under 2.5 Goals' looks good value.

In League Two, Rotherham United visit Aldershot, who finished one place and one point beneath them in the regular season.

Aldershot were 3-0 winners when the Millers visited Hampshire last month, but their home form has been patchy with three defeats in their last eight matches.

Rotherham won 11 and lost 11 on the road this season, so their away results are notoriously difficult to predict.

Top scorer Adam Le Fondre struggled over the closing weeks of the season, which may explain why he is 7-4 to score in this game – a price which is well worth considering as the Millers make their bid for Wembley.

Weekend's best bets

n Chelsea v Portsmouth – Salomon Kalou to score; A penalty to be scored.

n Huddersfield v Millwall – Under 2.5 Goals.

n Aldershot v Rotherham – Adam Le Fondre to score.
