SkyBet: Robins strike duo threaten Town's unbeaten home record

With none of the region's clubs left in the FA Cup, attention turns to the Football League this weekend, with Huddersfield Town's home game against in-form Swindon Town the pick of the action.

This is an intriguing fixture, not least because Huddersfield remain unbeaten at home, winning 10 of their 15 league games at the Galpharm Stadium.

Swindon, meanwhile, have been on a roll ever since they took a chance on Poole Town striker Charlie Austin in October.

The 20-year-old, who averaged better than a goal a game for the Dorset club, has hit 11 goals in 13 games for the Robins and his arrival has also brought the best out of fellow striker Billy Paynter, who has hit the net 12 times in the same period.

Both players scored in the recent 3-0 demolition of Leeds at the County Ground and Huddersfield will have to be at their sharpest to keep them off the scoresheet.

Their goals mean Swindon are unbeaten in nine league games and you have to fancy them to make it 10.

There is no doubt they are capable of ending Huddersfield's proud unbeaten home record, but this looks like a scoring draw.

Also in League One, Leeds visit Leyton Orient, another team who have found some form of late.

Unbeaten in five, the Os were 1-0 winners at Charlton a couple of weeks ago and that should be all the warning Leeds require. It is not advisable to back the Whites at odds on.

There is no game for rejuvenated Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship, but United are at home to poor travellers Bristol City, who have scored only once in their last five away games and have won only once in their last 11 games so the three points look to be there for the taking for the Blades.

Their own recent dip in form, however, makes it difficult to back them with any confidence, especially at a price of 5-6.

Barnsley look a better prospect at 8-11 to get the better of Plymouth Argyle at Oakwell, where the Tykes have lost only one of the last eight.

Midfielder Emil Halfredsson has scored in three of the last four home games and can be backed at 5-1 to find the net again.

Doncaster Rovers are at home at the Keepmoat Stadium to Nottingham Forest, who were unbeaten in 13 away games before losing the last two.

Forest have the class to get back on track, but the price of 11-10 is too skinny, even allowing for Doncaster's five-game winless run.

Bradford City begin life without manager Stuart McCall with a home game against Grimsby.

It has the look of a routine home win, except there is no such thing for the Bantams, who struggle on their own patch.

Five of Grimsby's last six away games have been draws, four of them 0-0, so go with another stalemate in this one.

Rotherham United's form is erratic – four wins and four defeats in their last eight games – so backing them to win at Lincoln is a risky business.

The Imps have won their last two games at Sincil Bank so this will be no easy task for Ronnie Moore's promotion-chasing Millers.
