Southend United v Rotherham United: Millers move closer towards ending exile

League two: ROTHERHAM chairman Tony Stewart has revealed the club's application for a new stadium will be considered by the Council's planning board on November 25.

The proposed site, at the old Guest and Chrimes Foundry, has been cleared and the plan is for United to end their exile in Sheffield and move back to Rotherham ahead of the 2012-13 season.

Miller said: "We have been working closely with the Council over several weeks since the application was submitted to work through all the issues."

A more pressing concern for the Millers, however, is the trip to Southend when Ronnie Moore is set to hand Arsenal loanee Mark Randall his first start. Moore, who watched the 21-year-old for the Gunners' reserves, said: "I am not looking to bring him in and sit him on the bench. I have to decide who to play with him."

Randall has previously played for Burnley and MK Dons.
