Striker Vine aiming to land deal with Rovers

QPR striker Rowan Vine has been allowed to leave to spend a period on trial with Doncaster Rovers, starting on Monday.

The 28-year-old has struggled to establish himself since joining from Birmingham in 2008, spending loan spells at Hull, Brentford and MK Dons last season.

Rovers have signed midfielders Kyle Bennett, from Bury, and James Baxendale, from Leeds United.
