Swansea City v Doncaster Rovers: O'Driscoll has Rooney in his sights

Championship: DONCASTER manager Sean O'Driscoll is weighing up a summer move for Inverness Caledonian Thistle duo Adam Rooney and Jonathan Hayes.

The pair moved north last summer after being released by Stoke and Leicester, respectively.

Striker Rooney, 22, has bagged 26 goals as Thistle have won the League One title and secured promotion to the Scottish Premier League. Hayes, 22, has played a key role down the left.

Scouts from the Championship club are making another check on the pair in today's home game with Dundee.

Rovers travel to Swansea, who are locked in a battle for the final promotion play-off spot with Blackpool. The Swans will secure qualification if they win and Blackpool fail to beat Bristol City.

Assistant Rovers manager Richard O'Kelly said: "There is going to be a lot of pressure on Swansea – but I would much rather be in their shoes."
