Tendler double sees Stingrays snap losing streak
After giving away a two-goal lead shortly before the end of the second period, Sylvain Cloutier's under-pressure team came back from a goal down in the third to secure a 5-4 triumph.
James Archer fired Stingrays ahead in only the second minute before Matti Uusivirta made it 2-0 a minute later.

Hide AdMathieu Wathier halved the deficit at 23.30 before a powerplay effort from Lee Mitchell had Stingrays 3-1 ahead at 37.14. But the Clan were soon level with goals from Ryan Campbell and Jon Landry.
Campbell put the visitors ahead for the first time 44 seconds into the third period, but Jereme Tendler equalised on the powerplay at 53.20 and then, while his side were shorthanded but on a delayed penalty call, the same player slotted home at 54.25 to seal a crucial two points.
"It was a massive win," said Cloutier afterwards."We need wins and we need points. Now we are two points ahead of the pack below us and with games in hand.
"We talked before the game how big it was. We are tied 1-1 in the series with Braehead.

Hide Ad"We want to win the series with them, we want to win the series against Dundee, we want to win the series against Newcastle and Edinburgh to help ourselves clinch sixth or seventh spot.
"We kept plugging away and the difference was we had three lines tonight and that is something we have been missing.
"It has been burning our two lines out and we have run out of gas in the third period. When we have three full lines we can compete with anyone and we showed that tonight."
