Sharp, who lived in Bradford before moving to Bermuda, waived his right to a hearing and accepted the ban.

UK Anti-Doping chief executive Andy Parkinson said: “Through the collaborative work of three national anti-doping organisations, the Bermuda Sport Anti-Doping Agency has successfully handed a two-year sanction to this athlete.”

The US anti-doping agency was also involved in the testing procedure.
