Walsall v Huddersfield Town: Clark wary of managerless Walsall threat

League one: Lee CLARK insists Walsall's managerial uncertainty will have no bearing on today's game for Huddersfield Town.

The Terriers travel to rock-bottom Walsall to take on a side under the charge of youth team manager Dean Smith following Chris Hutchings's dismissal.

Huddersfield manager Clark said: "I don't focus on their managerial situation. They have picked up two very hard working away points in their last two games and I am sure they will be looking forward to getting back to their home ground.

"We have to be aware of that. Walsall also look like they are fighting for each other to try and stay in the league.

"For whatever reason, Walsall didn't pick up the points they would have liked in the first half of the season. But we know it is going to be tough.

"In terms of results, we have had a good start to 2011. We have had one or two indifferent performances but, ultimately, it is about winning football matches and that is how we have started the year."
