Wilkinsons are driven to success

The family are all members of the North Eastern Carriage Driving Club and had qualified for the championships at events held around the country.

Wendy Stromberg from North Cave came second in the Open Horse class and Pat Cooper (Wetherby) was third in the Horse Tandems.

David Wagstaff-Myers from Doncaster and Judy Hilditch (Wakefield) were both fifth in their classes.

In the novice horse class, John Wilkinson of Halifax was sixth with Thirsk's Steve Nichols finishing in seventh place.
