Yorkshire golf: Hillsborough inviting entries for Haydn Webster Junior Open

THERE are just over two weeks left before entry is closed for Hillsborough's Haydn Webster Junior Open.

An 18-hole stroke play competition to be played on Thursday, July 28, it is open to anyone under the age of 18 as of January 1 this year.

Entry is just £5 and includes a free buffet after playing.

Tee off times for the Galvin Green-backed event are between 10am and noon.

There are prizes for both handicap and gross scores and anyone who meets the age criterion is welcome to play, but the maximum handicap for the competition is 28.
