Jobling was runner-up in the English senior amateur at Ross on Wye in May when Cheshire’s Cath Rawthore came back from two down with two to play to secure a dramatic 21st-hole triumph.

Rawthore and Jackie Foster - who won the English senior women’s stroke play championship at Burnham Beeches last month - are also in the line-up.

The trio will be joined in the team by Julie Brown of Staffordshire, Helen Lowe of Leicestershire, and Katherine Russell of Sussex.

Caroline Berry of Bromborough, Cheshire, is the reserve.

England’s recent record in this event is excellent; they won the gold medal in 2014 and the silver last year under the captaincy of Huddersfield's Pat Wrightson.

Brown and Rawthore were members of both those teams and Lowe played in 2015.

The team heading to Poland comprises the top four players from the senior order of merit and two selectors’ picks. The automatic places were taken by Jobling, Rawthore, Foster and Russell.
