Sumo acquires Polish games firm PixelAnt in £250,000 deal

Yorkshire video game designer Sumo Group has confirmed the acquisition of Polish firm PixelAnt Games in a deal worth £250,000.

Sheffield-based confirmed the deal for PixelAnt, who are based in Wroclaw, creating a base for growth in Poland's booming video games development industry.

Following the acquisition, PixelAnt will sit alongside Sumo Digital's other nine studios and continue to operate under the leadership directors Pawel Rohleder and Adam Lason.

The acquisition of PixelAnt takes Sumo Digital's studio count to ten and the Group's total to 13, across five countries.
