Beauty: How to get the big brow look
Eyebrows are a modern-day obsession, thanks in no small measure to model Cara Delevingne and her extravagantly full, dark and bushy (but impeccably groomed) brows. Vogue has dubbed her “Her Eyebrowness”.
Brows are big business, worth more than £20m a year in the UK, with British women estimated to spend £200 a year on eyebrow care and grooming.

Brow tinting and threading continue to be popular, especially as it is on-trend to have eyebrows darker than your hair colour. But if your brows are not all you wish them to be, and you don’t fancy tinting, even less so tattooing, there is a great deal you can do using make-up and expertise alone.
“Big brows are all in at the moment,” says Emma Sykes, make-up expert at Laura Mercier, Harvey Nichols Leeds.
She recommends Laura Mercier’s Sketch & Intensify Pomade and Powder Brow Duo (£20, at Harvey Nichols) to give natural-looking full brows. It features a pomade and a powder to enhance brows’ natural texture and colour.

Go to the end, and then, whatever is left on the brush, fill the front part in, so it’s not too heavy.
“Then take the gel part and, using the other side of the brush, set, starting in the middle and running it across the brow to hold the powder in place. To make the brow fuller, you can take little bit more of the powder and just pull it under the arch slightly, just to fill out that shape.”
