David Bowie remembered - The Yorkshire Connection with John ‘Hutch’ Hutchinson and Woody Woodmansey – PostMusic Podcast

IT is now five years since David Bowie passed away, aged 69.

If anything, his influence on pop and rock, cinema, theatre, literature and fashion has deepened since his passing on January 10, 2016.

To mark the anniversary, Post Music returns to put together a series of podcasts looking back over his remarkable career through a series of interviews with the Yorkshire musicians who helped him become the creative force he became.

Here, we start with off with an interview from back in 2016 with John ‘Hutch’ Hutchinson, the Scarborough-based jazz guitarist who was a member of three important Bowie bands. We’ll also hear from Woody Woodmansey, who was the drummer in the Spiders From Mars.
