Arrests of Hull Trawlers off Russian Coast

It is stated that the Russian Government is paying £30,200 as compensation for the arrest of four Hull trawlers off the Murmansk coast.

The seizure of these vessels on the plea that they were fishing within the limit created much indignation in the fishing industry — so much so that the British Government sent out a gunboat to protect our fishing craft.
