Two of the guns which have been provided for the 66th (Leeds Rifles) Anti-Aircraft Brigade are this week to be handed over to the Oulton (188th) Battery, which is commanded by Major K. Hargreaves.
It is claimed that it is fitting that Oulton, though representing only one battery out of the four in the Brigade, should be supplied so soon after the headquarters at Carlton Barracks, because enthusiasm the Oulton unit can compare favourably with any other Territorial body.

Hide AdWithout extraordinary enthusiasm it is hard to believe that the Territorial Force could have been kept functioning in this small community.
Even the material encouragement of a drill hall or mess has been lacking.
All the training has had be done in the Working Men’s Club, or more recently, the Temperance Hall.
