Leeds P.O. Workers Raise £15,000

Leeds Post Office workers, who set out to raise £5,000 In their eight days’ war savings effort, have got £16.205, which will purchase four Fulmar fighter ‘planes Instead of one, the original target.

Mr. W.R. Storr (North-Eastern Regional Director), who set the indicator at that figure yesterday, said that the effort benefited by a further £5,000 from the United Kingdom Postal Telegraphic and General Civil Service Insurance Society.
