Suspected cases of Dutch elm disease in West Yorkshire have already passed the total for the whole of last year, and Bradford is the worst hit of the five metropolitan districts.

This was said by Dr. Keith Lever, assistant forestry officer for West Yorkshire County Council yesterday.
