As the Human League prepare for '˜home' gig, here is your guide to Sheffield's pop legends

Saturday 3rd December, sees them take centre stage at Sheffield Arena.The bands last tour was in 2012 as they celebrated their 35 year existence travelling across the UK and Europe. The UK’s Daily Telegraph said:”Its as good a night’s entertainment as you are likely to find anywhere on the planet.”

The Sheffield band will be supported by special guest synth-pop and electro three-piece Ekkoes. The emerging band continue to make a name for themselves after performing alongside Charli XCX and Matt & Kim.

• Dare tops the UK album chart
