The event will take place on Friday, April 15 and Saturday, April 16 and features a superb, up-and-coming Harrogate singer who was recently added to another bill – legendary broadcaster Bob Harris’ forthcoming Under The Apple Tree Festival.

Presented by Frazer Theatre Music, the Saturday night headliner is said singer – Holly Rose Webber, backed by her four-piece band.

Born and bred in Harrogate, Holly grew up in a musical household – her father was the singer with seventies prog-rockers Wally – and her earliest influences include Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, The Small Faces, Gram Parsons, Jackson Browne and The Rolling Stones.

Since the 2014 release of Sparkle & Fade, her debut album, she has steadily been building a strong reputation beyond the town.

Holly’s guitarist Rob Reynolds will also be playing a solo set on Saturday, blending rock, soul and blues.

Rob is a distinguished songwriter in his own right, with an impressive track record of collaborations that include Midge Ure, Arthur Lee and Love, Paul Carrack, Glenn Tilbrook (Squeeze) and Hugh Cornwell (ex-Stranglers).

He has been praised by Mojo magazine, who named his second release their album of the month, and playlisted by BBC Radio 2.

On Friday night, FTM welcomes two newer talents, for whom this showcase will offer valuable exposure.

Made up of five teenagers from King James’s School, rock/rap fusion band Two Tone Rust recently made a big splash by winning the Harrogate district’s annual AMP awards at the Royal Hall.

Supporting Two Tone Rust are Two White Guys & a Mexican, a three-piece alternative acoustic outfit who wowed the crowd at Henshaw’s Friday Night Mix in February.

A third act for Friday night will be announced soon.

Tickets are available now from Pear Records on Knaresborough High Street or online from frazertheatre.co.uk
