Music is tuning into nature...

The YSP has teamed up with musician Sam Lee, the University of Derby, Selfridges and Tileyard London to search for a piece of original music that tunes in to nature, helping to highlight the need for a new relationship with nature, especially for young people.

The competition is open to young musicians and composers aged 16-29 resident in the UK whose work fosters a stronger relationship with nature through contemporary popular music.

The winning entry will receive a £1,000 grant and benefit from a free remix with Tileyard London, produced by award-winning songwriter and producer Martyn Ware. The deadline for entries is July 31. More details www.ysp.org.uk/tune-into-nature-music-prize
