Yorkshire's Easby Group celebrates 'major milestone' from Matrix Electronics purchase

North Yorkshire-based specialist electronics company Easby Group has purchased Reading firm Matrix Electronics.

Easby, which is based in Richmond, has acquired the electronics kitting and supply chain solutions provider in what is describes as a “major milestone” for its strategy of becoming “the independent technical distribution partner of choice, for a full range of added value services across electronics supply chains”.

The announcement follows the £24million management buy-out of Easby Group which was backed by NVM Private Equity in February 2022.

Easby Group Chairman Jonathan Simpson-Dent said: “We are excited to bring together two dynamic and focused businesses under Eamon and David’s joint stewardship.
