Cyclist killed and man arrested after crash in Wakefield Road, Normanton
A cyclist has died and a man has been arrested after a crash in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
The cyclist, a man in his fifties, was involved in a crash with a white Ford Transit van, at about 10.30pm on Friday, February 10.
It happened in Wakefield Road, Normanton, close to the junction with Mill Hill.
The van driver, a 39-year-old man, has been arrested.
He remains in custody.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
