Hebden Bridge leads by example with ‘can do’ spirit – The Yorkshire Post says
Left under several feet of filthy floodwater when Storm Ciara struck in February, they were still mopping out their homes and businesses for the umpteenth time in recent years when Covid-19 took hold.
And now, as they come to terms with the unfolding economic tragedy, they’re using their collective expertise and spirit to showcase the town’s arts on digital platforms this weekend in a pioneering Open Studios event which will see 92 artists sharing their ideas and workshops with the public.

Hide AdThe type of ‘can do’ attitude that will serve the county so well in the coming months, it will also serve another reminder about the importance of arts, and creative activities, to the nation’s health and wider wellbeing.
