Bette Midler and Neil Diamond announce arena dates in Leeds

THE First Direct Arena in Leeds will be full of the old razzle-dazzle when two of the biggest names in showbusiness step out on its stage next year.

Bette Midler and Neil Diamond today both announced dates at the £60m entertainment venue.

Miss Midler will be playing Leeds on July 15 while Diamond is appearing on July 21. Tickets for his show go on sale at 9am on Wednesday.

Bette’s fans can book their place at her concert from 9am this Friday.

Another act freshly confirmed for the arena are pop favourites S Club 7, who are playing on May 19 next year.

News of the show follows a reunion appearance by the group on the BBC’s Children In Need programme on Friday evening.

Tickets for the S Club 7 concert go on sale at 9am on Thursday.
