Lad: A Yorkshire Story is the latest film shot in the county to make the big screen and follows on from the likes of Four Lions, Tyrannosaur and The Damned United.

Screen Yorkshire has also just announced that a TV adaption of Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell is also in pre-production.

The bestselling book by Susanna Clarke, who spent her teenage years in Bradford, was published in 2004 and is about to be made into a seven part series for BBC1.
