Prince meets Glastonbury founder

The Prince of Wales last night met Glastonbury Festival founder Michael Eavis to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the charity WaterAid.

They were joined by a host of supporters at a reception at Clarence House to recognise the organisation’s achievement in providing almost 16 million people from the world’s poorest communities with safe water.

In partnership with the festival on Mr Eavis’s Worthy Farm, it has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds. The Prince has been president of the charity for 20 years.
