Review: Blur: No Distance Left To Run ****

Taking its title from a song on the acclaimed album 13, No Distance Left To Run is an intimate documentary directed by Will Lovelace and Dylan Southern, which offers a revealing insight to the dynamics between the four members of chart-topping Britpop pop group, Blur.

Tracing the group's history from childhood years in Colchester to college and then the much-hyped rivalry with Oasis, the film melds archive footage with new interviews to reveal the personalities behind the music. In the process, Lovelace and Southern gain a better understanding of Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree as they begin rehearsals for the 2009 comeback, summer tour, including appearances at Glastonbury and Hyde Park.
