Rod’s wearing well in Leeds
Rod Stewart spread more gravel than a council truck during his show at Leeds’s First Direct Arena – and the audience loved it. The husky-voiced one proved he still wears it well as he continued the run of big names launching the new venue.
A capacity audience enjoyed collective time travel as Rod launched into a bluesy rendition of This Old Heart. It was a snazzy set, all sharp suits and sexy sax showing how the boozy wildman of the Seventies has matured.
