2. Jane Eyre: National Theatre Live will be screening a new production in collaboration with Bristol Old Vic of Charlotte Bronte’s classic story in cinemas across the region. The event takes place on December 8. For details visit ntlive.nationaltheatre.org.uk

3. Broadway cinema: There are plans to build a brand new cinema at the recently opened Broadway shopping centre in Bradford. The entertainment company, The Light plans a six-screen, 780-seat cinema with an extension to the development.

4. Goya – Visions of Flesh and Blood: A special cinema event will transport you to the National Gallery in London to look at Spain’s most celebrated artist – Francisco Goya. It takes place in cinemas across the region from December 1.

5. The Lady in the Van (12A): Written by Alan Bennett and based on a true story, the film stars Maggie Smith as the eccentric old lady who parked her van in the driveway of Bennett’s London home, where it stayed for 15 years. Alex Jennings co-stars.
