Working hard at looking good

Meadowhall Shopping Centre is offering expert advice on how to dress for the workplace as part of its October Fashion Month event.

Led by Bethanie Lunn, Meadowhall's fashion expert, and The Apprentice finalist Claire Young, the free Dress for Success classes have been designed to help people beat the recession blues and get back on a career path. Experts from the Source and Job Centre Plus will also be on hand to help candidates look for full-time employment and part-time work within Meadowhall as part of the Recruitment Fair.

Claire Young said: "First impressions really do count. This is especially true in the workplace. I have come across countless people, especially women, who struggle with their self-esteem and as a consequence they don't know how to dress to portray the desired image. It is essential that in these difficult economic times, potential employees get out there and get themselves noticed and this is where our Dress for Success classes can help."
