Agency to raise profile of printing
LEEDS-based public relations agency Ptarmigan Bell Pottinger has joined forces with Print Yorkshire to promote the interests of the print and printed packaging sector in Yorkshire and the Humber.
The partnership will see Ptarmigan Bell Pottinger raise the profile of Print Yorkshire, which is funded by Yorkshire Forward and supports the interests of more than 1,000 businesses in the region.
Robert McClements, Print Yorkshire chief executive, said: "As we strive to support businesses locally following renewed funding from Yorkshire Forward, there are a number of exciting programmes that we are involved with." Print Yorkshire supports training and development, enhances network opportunities for firms in the region, and shares best practice.
The print industry in Yorkshire makes a 1.7bn contribution to the region's economy and provides employment for 18,000 people in 1,130 companies.
