Agency team names new director

Commercial property agent BNP Paribas Real Estate has appointed Guy Cooke as director to head the agency team.

Mr Cooke has joined the Sheffield office from Knight Frank, in Leeds, where he was partner for 13 years, taking responsibility for agency advice and development consulting.

Working across South and West Yorkshire, he has been involved in some of the region's most high-profile projects for clients such as Highcross, Morley Fund Management and IVG.

He will work with BNP Paribas Real Estate's Leeds agency team to advise clients across the Yorkshire and Humber region.

Leighton Thomas, head of the firm's Sheffield office, said: "We are slowly seeing confidence return to the property market in South Yorkshire and we intend to capitalise on this by being able to provide our clients with a full range of services across all sectors.Guy's experience and expertise will prove a great addition to the market-leading teams that we already have in place across the region and we remain committed to expanding these teams further."
