Appointments: Key recruitment as lender looks for Reward in North

Rachel Roach: Appointed partner with Irwin Mitchells medical negligence team.

Elizabeth Harrison joins Leeds-based Reward as marketing and communications manager. Damian Slingsby has been promoted to business development director, while Russell Holt has been appointed to lead the North West office as business development director.

Langleys Solicitors has strengthened its employment team with the appointment of Mini Setty as partner.

Ms Setty joins Langleys from DWF in Leeds and previously worked at Eversheds and Shoosmiths.

Irwin Mitchell continues to expand its medical negligence team, as newly appointed partner Rachel Roach returns to the Leeds office after originally completing her training at the firm.

Leeds-based specialist IP and intangible assets firm Virtuoso Legal has expanded its team with the appointment of Philip Partington as a senior solicitor. Virtuoso Legal has also appointed Lakmal Walawage.

Barclays Business and Corporate Banking has announced three appointments to its Humber team. Mark Waite has been promoted to relationship director within the corporate team and will be responsible for businesses with a turnover in excess of £5m in the Hull area.

Craig Ingram and Danny Scarr join the business banking team as managers looking after customers that have a turnover from £400,000 up to £5m.

Saltaire Brewery has recruited Nick Helliwell as its sales director. Mr Helliwell will lead the delivery of a sales strategy designed to widen distribution beyond its Yorkshire heartland over the next three years.

Leeds-based marketing agency Little has appointed four staff and a student intern to its expanding team.

Jamie Bullock, Matthew Voyce, Adam Duffield and Grace Jorden join the growing firm in its new Leeds city centre premises to service the firm’s increased demand. Ellen Mcloughin is also working as an intern taking on a creative role for the agency and its clients.

Les Blacker, from Cragg Vale in Hebden Bridge, has been appointed client services director at health & safety, employment law, HR and ISO provider Citation.

The 46-year-old joins Citation from customer experience specialist HGS Europe.
